WSOF Radio, a ministry of the Island Ford Baptist Church in Madisonville, KY, has been preaching and teaching the Gospel of Christ since 1977. As the oldest Christian radio station of its kind in Western Kentucky, we are proud to be the area's strongest conservative Christian voice, broadcasting 24/7 with 39,000 watts of power. At WSOF, we adhere to the strictest of standards for conservative gospel music and Christian programming, offering a variety of hand-picked selections from the oldest to the newest releases, so that all of our listeners, young and old, can enjoy the hymns and songs that stir the soul and bless the heart.

In addition to our music, we feature programs that inform and educate our listeners about current events taking place in our nation and around the world, including legal and political issues that concern us as God's pilgrim people. Our signal reaches many cities, including Evansville IN, Harrisburg IL, Murray and Mayfield KY, McKenzie and Paris TN, Owensboro, Henderson, Cadiz and Hopkinsville KY, and we have expanded our outreach through the internet to truly "go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature."

We have also recently expanded our network, in accordance with Isaiah 54:2, "Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes." In 2005, we acquired a small FM radio station in McKenzie, TN (WAJJ 89.3), along with a translator in Paris, TN (W242AS 96.3), further expanding our outreach for Christ. In 2020, we were blessed with the opportunity to apply for new NCE FM radio stations. Following the Lord's guidance, we applied for and received construction permits for stations in Harrisburg, IL (90.3 FM, 260 watts), Murray, KY (89.1 FM, 500 watts), and near Cadiz, KY (88.7 FM, 2,500 watts), expanding our gospel outreach to the vast majority of Western KY and also to Northwest TN and Southern IL. With these new projects, we have rebranded our network of stations as the Light & Truth Radio Network. We praise the Lord for His blessings and for the opportunity to continue spreading His message.
